A second victim has died after a student opened fire on classmates at his Ohio high school, the local police chief said on Tuesday. Tim McKenna, police chief in the town of Chardon, said at a news conference that teenaged victim Russell King died early on Tuesday, a day after being wounded in a school shooting that killed another student and wounded three. “It’s sad to say — at this point I’m going to announce the second student Russell King has passed,” McKenna said. Earlier on Tuesday, officials at the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s officer had said that King had been declared ‘brain dead’.
