Lucknow: An IPS officer was caught using unfair means in his law examination on the new campus of Lucknow University on Thursday. JP
Singh, who is working as regional passport officer on deputation, was appearing for his third semester exam at room Number 102, when the flying squad reportedly caught him.
LU controller of examinations confirmed that Singh had been caught red-handed, but the IPS officer denied the allegations.
Singh is pursuing LLB (three years) from Naravdeshwar Law College, an associated college of Lucknow University, and was writing his fourth paper-Labour Law-I- on roll number 10055085079 in the first shift held between 9am to 12 noon.
As per university officials, the matter came to light around 11.15am when flying squad members went on a round to classrooms where exams were going on.
