Hate campaign against family of girl accused of blasphemy-The Pioneer-28.9.11

Ahate campaign has been launched against the fam ily of a teenage Christian gir accused of blasphemy and expelled from school in th northern Pakistani town o Havelian, a media report said on Monday.
An SMS campaign agains the family of Faryal Bhatti ha created panic among the 1 other Christian families livin in the Pakistan Ordinanc Factories (POF) colony a Havelian near Abbottabad Bhatti, an eighth grade studen of Sir Syed Girls' High School misspelt the word naat (hymn as laanat (curse) in an Urdu examination last week.
She made the mistake whil answering a question on poem written in praise o Prophet Mohammed. The erro led to accusations of blasphem against Bhatti and uproa among Muslim religious lead ers. Though she apologised Bhatti was expelled from schoo and her mother, Sarafeen Bhatti a staff nurse at the POF Hospital in Havelian, was trans ferred to the Wah Cantonmen Hospital. Officials of the POF colony in Havelian directed Bhatti's family to vacate thei residential quarters. PT
