World's Top 200 among Two Indian Universities "Bengaluru" "Delhi "



The Massachusetts Institute of Technology  is being ranked as World's Best University. Its Harvard University which bagged the 2nd Position. University of Cambridge and Stanford University jointly shared the 3rd spot.

Two Indian Universities have made it to the World's Top 200 Best Universities list. While the Indian Institute of Science located in Bengaluru was ranked 147, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi has obtained 179th Rank.

As per QS World University Rankings 2015, About 7 Indian Universities have been among Global 400. Sadly, University of Delhi and University of Mumbai couldn't make it the final list.
Canada, Australia and Japan have 8 each, China, France, Sweden and Hong Kong managed 5 each. 

London is the only City in the World to have four Universities in Top 50. While Boston and New York have 3 each, Other major cities like Paris, Sydney, Hong Kong and Beijing contributed 2 each. While Netherlands have 12, Germany is next to it with 11. 


Top Universities of about 34 Countries have found a place in Top 200. While US holds the top spot with 49 Institutions, UK holds the second spot with 30 Institutions.
